Ok, this is just freaky. Usually we don’t get visited by Presidential candidates. At all. Like they only come here when we flood or have some other natural disaster befall us. Barack Obama visited Grand Forks on April 4 and now about three months later he is visiting Fargo on July 3rd. AND the campaign says it won’t be the last time he visits the state. That might have something to do with the fact that McCain has been polling pretty poorly here (it’s about 50/50)… go Obama!

Is it funny that I found out about the extended deadline in the newspaper and not at work… either that or it was in one of the many emails I get every day I don’t read. Well I gave mine to pet oxygen masks for the Moorhead Fire Department ($275) and The Point Foundation ($725). Honestly I am pretty amazed they let me give my Pay It Forward to a gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender scholarship fund.

Ok, I admit it – I love Sheer Genius. The only reason I’m not recapping the season is because of my scatterbrained schedule over the next month. From season one I loved Theodore and Tabatha – and loathed the little troll Tyson. Season two we got rid of the awesomely annoying Oshun right away (“because I’m deep” my ass!!) and I adore Daniel with his Dallas hair and southern drawl. I haven’t been drawn to anyone else… yet. Tonight Tabatha from season one guest judged, and its been announced that she will be hosting her own Bravo show. Sweet!! I am so ready for that sass on a weekly basis – it sounds like it’ll be Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares (BBC America) for hair salons. Awesomeness!
