NDSU is only $10 million more in debt than UND, but has a brighter outlook than UND at the present. They are talking of going even more into debt to help increase the campus infrastructure. If current trends hold NDSU will have 16,000 by 2014. UND on the other hand is hoping to stabilize where its at – that of course could change with the new president.

Dowd looks at the possibility of Hill as Sect of State and doesn’t mind it. She actually calls it a very un-Clintonian thing to do. Putting intelligent people into the right positions from day one, whether they be friends or frenemies, would be a change.
