My latest inner Mix…

I was going to include Love Don’t Let Me Go (Walking Away) [Famous Radio Edit] a mash-up of David Guetta and The Egg as well as In the Heat of the Night (UK Radio Edit) by Star Pilots on this mix. However I forgot to add one & didn’t know the other had become available in the US iTunes Store FINALLY. Oh well, they’ll be on the next one.

In what has become somewhat of a tradition for me on November 5th, I have watched V for Vendetta.

Remember, remember the fifth of November,

The odd thing about Guy Fawkes Day/Night is that it is more about authority than anything.
The Gunpowder Plot people were against the anti-Catholic authority of the English Crown (recall, that England was dominated by the Protestant ‘Church of England’).
Over the years it has seemed to become more of a reminder to question authority than anything. Kind of like how American Independence Day has become more of a reminder to value our freedom, in addition to the birthday of the USA.

Question authority, value freedom.

It is sad when your home state has gotten on the CNN.com homepage because three talented women have passed away. My thoughts are with the families of the three women.

Hopefully no foul-play was involved. Though, one does have to wonder how the car (a Jeep) got into the pond.

The Dickinson State University community is close-knit, from what I’ve been able to tell due to personal experience. Stories out of The Dickinson Press seem to support that. This definitely doesn’t help in a bad news year for the Dickinson area – if you recall they were hit by a tornado that ravaged the south end of town in July.

Hopefully this is the last bad news that Dickinson will have in 2009.

Washington Referendum 71 – Domestic Partnership Law
We won!! Washington state LGBT residents have “everything but marriage” DPs. Woot woot!

Kalamazoo MI pass anti-discrimination ordinance
Despite some reprehensible ads, equality won in Kazoo.

Maine Question 1 – Repeal Same-Sex Marriage Law
I’ll go out on a limb and say we lost this one. Sorry Maine

Gays win on local level
LGBT candidates won in Detroit, Chapel Hill NC, Salt Lake City, Florida, Ohio, Georgia, Minnesota, and gained in NYC.

Houston could elect Lesbian mayor in December
Annise Parker has momentum going into next months run-off.

Overall, except for Maine, tonight has been a pretty good night for LGBT candidates and issues.

Apparently all the cool gay bloggers (Rod 2.0, Joe.My.God, Josh&Josh) were invited to Key West as part of a gay tourism junket (I think that’s what its called).

Anywho.

This episode made me want to jump into the TV and start dry humping Matthew Morrison (Will).
I think the whole popularity thing is finally played out. Luckily I think they’ll be moving onto different things… once they get back from a couple week hiatus. Damn baseball.
